Opening in the former Kate’s Kitchen location on Aspen Grove Drive-Shot+Pepper Cantina opened quietly in January.
According to their website their menu features “fresh mexican food with a southern flair.” Just like Kate’s Kitchen they will also offer patio dining. In addition to patio dining,they have two large screen TV’s in the bar area playing the latest sporting event.
On their Facebook page,they feature the Shot+Pepper Cantina margarita stating, “we’ve been told it’s the best anywhere in the south.”

“We ate here last night and it was amazing!! We had a group of about 7 and we all tried different things and I didn’t taste one thing I didn’t like it was all delicious! The margaritas tasted so smooth not syrup tasting like alot of Mexican places!! I’m already asking my husband when we can go back again!! It’s by far one of the best if not the best Mexican food in Franklin and I highly highly recommend everyone try it you will not be disappointed I assure you!!”
“Yummy burger tonight – it was the best we’ve had in Franklin! The fries would rival 5guys or the Pharmacy! Excited to come back and try the tacos. So glad you stayed open on this snowy Saturday!”
Shot+Pepper Cantina is located at 3301 Aspen Grove Park,Franklin. Hours of operation are from 11am-8pm daily.
