Sheriff’s Office to Host Church Security Summit

On Thursday, April 5, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and Community Outreach Ministries will host Summit on Church Security to help provide critical information to churches on how to respond to security concerns.

The summit takes place from 6:30p-8p at Church of the City, 828 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin.

At the summit, a local security company will provide strategies for church security, a local SWAT commander will share strategic plans for critical incident response for churches and vendors will display church security products.

Presenters include police officials from all over Williamson County: Sheriff Jeff Long, WCSO; Chief Jeff Hughes, Brentwood Police Department; Chief Roddy Parker, Nolensville Police Department, Chief Deborah Faulkner, Franklin Police Department and Chief Don Brite, Spring Hill Police Department.
