Sheriff’s Office Confiscates 100 Marijuana Plants

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) confiscated more than a hundred marijuana plants behind a home in Arrington, TN this week. WCSO narcotics investigators, assisted by the WCSO aviation unit, seized 132 plants with a street value of tens of thousands of dollars.

Deputies received an anonymous tip that someone was growing marijuana on Roberts Road. Pilots with the WCSO aviation unit spotted the plants when they flew over the property on Tuesday. With their assistance, narcotics investigators were able to locate the plants and seize them.

No arrests have been made.  The case will be turned over to the District Attorney’s Office for presentation to a grand jury.
