“Share the Love” Sales Event Benefits Williamson County Animal Center

Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) and Darrell Waltrip Subaru in Franklin are teaming up for “Share the Love,” a holiday sales event ending Jan. 3, 2017.

With each new Subaru vehicle sold or leased during the promotion at Darrell Waltrip Subaru, 1450 Murfreesboro Rd., purchasers can choose WCAC as a directly benefitting charity. Subaru will donate $250 per vehicle sold.

As a chosen charitable partner for the past four years, the Williamson County Animal Center is excited to once again be the only local organization option for donations.

In addition, Darrell Waltrip Subaru will sponsor a pet adoption event at the Leiper’s Fork Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the arbor next to Puckett’s at 4142 Old Hillsboro Rd. Parade attendees can also help the shelter by dropping off pet supplies and donations at designated parking lots or in the arbor area.

At the shelter, Darrell Waltrip Subaru is sponsoring adoptions on senior pets (age 6 or older) through Jan. 3, and Mid-Cumberland Meals on Wheels will receive a donation for each senior pet adopted.

For more information about “Share the Love” and pet adoption, contact Darrell Waltrip Subaru at (615) 791-1101 or Williamson County Animal Center at (615) 790-5590.

The shelter is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www.adoptwcac.org or at the center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
