For the second year in a row Build-A-Bear Workshop® is commemorating Valentine’s Day by offering the opportunity to “Share Your Heart” by making a donation to help children with life-threatening medical conditions through our alliance with Make-A-Wish. A wish come true empowers children to fight harder against their illnesses. It replaces fear with hope, and helps families return to a sense of normalcy.
From January 9 through March 31, 2015, guests may make a donation of via in-store or online checkout. Each time guests make a donation, they will be asked to make a Valentine Heart for a child in need of a hug and also given a Valentine Heart to share with someone special.
One-hundred percent of the donations collected will benefit Make-A-Wish, which received more than $440,000 in 2014 from Build-A-Bear Workshop and its guests.
