Set A Spooktacular Table This Halloween

Looking to set the perfect table for your Halloween party this weekend? Look no further. This festive table was imaginatively assembled for a spookily spectacular Halloween!

“Food presents better and people linger longer when your table is inviting,” says Susan Allan of Best Table In The House, who decorated this fun Halloween themed table with her business partner, Judy Williams.

Allan and Williams used colors and items you would associate with Halloween for this themed table, and even added a splash of purple for flair. Their table includes colorful place settings, surrounded by skulls, skeletons and spiders, which were carefully arranged on layered brown and gold tablecloths – with Dracula standing nearby, of course. The area surrounding the dining table complements the overall theme, with a pretty, spider-themed fresh floral arrangement, courtesy of Freeman’s Flowers & Gifts, and a traditional pumpkin on the buffet table.

“The key part of tablescaping is layering,” reveals Allan. “Every little detail counts. And the more details, the better. You need different levels of light, so candles are good. You also need different heights too.”

Allan suggests starting with a focal point when Tablescaping. “Use a skull or a pumpkin as a focal point and work around it,” she advises. “Pick a subject and let your creative juices flow.”

According to Allan, she and Williams have been friends for a long time, which makes them a good team for Tablescaping. “Between the two of us we can always come up with something amazing,” she says. “We just complement one another.”
