Brentwood Police believe a Thursday night burglary may be connected to series of burglaries which occurred Friday in Franklin.
Brentwood PD are investigating a burglary that occurred at 11:30 Thursday morning, in the Fountainhead Subdivision located off of Franklin Road. Two suspects broke the glass of a rear door to the residence in the Fountain Head Subdivision. The suspects entered through the broken glass door and made entry into the home. Suspects used a pillow case from the bed of the master bedroom and took the victim’s jewelry box and jewelry from the home. The homeowner’s 20-year-old son who was asleep at the time of the burglary awoke and found one of the suspects in the kitchen. The suspect ordered the victim to another room of the house and both suspects left the residence. The suspects were described as having heavy African type accents and believed to be in there early to mid 20’s.
A neighbor stated that sometime between 11:15 and 12:05 an unknown, African American male knocked on her door. The subject asked for direction to an address on Quail Valley Drive. The neighbor stated that there were two individuals; the one that came to the door asking for directions had a strong or thick accent and another African American male was in the driver’s seat of a car.
Police believe this case is related to burglary cases in the Chestnut Bend Subdivision in Franklin. Brentwood and Franklin police are working together to aggressively pursue several leads.
Franklin and Brentwood Police urge residents in the Chestnut Bend and Fountainhead subdivisions to review home surveillance video for images of the suspects or their vehicle, even if their home was not burglarized. Anyone with information should call Franklin or Brentwood Police.
