Serendipity Pottery & Gifts, a painted pottery and specialty gift boutique, opened Thursday at 7180 Nolensville Road in Nolensville.
Owned by Nolensville resident Shannon Foster, the store aims “to tap into both the local creativity and talent of Tennesseans by planting our own flag with outposts that honor the sense of community, yet push the boundaries by introducing a bit of the unexpected. An artfully crafted collection of home décor, curated gifts and localized specialty items combined with the ability of our guests to channel their inner artist and create something extraordinary. Serendipity Pottery and Gifts will offer a little bit of the familiar, more of the unexpected and become a cherished discovery.”
After 20 years in the hotel industry, Foster decided it was time to take a break and put her heart and soul into something that her two daughters could be a part of. Foster wanted her business to support the local community and create an experience that would give her customers memories to last a lifetime.
In addition to gifts, the store will offer a pottery studio, where customers can hand paint unfinished pottery. It is the ultimate spot for a day date, girls afternoon out, or a creative afternoon of family fun and parties.
Serendipity Pottery and Gifts honors entrepreneurs across the state by supporting a variety of local vendors. See the complete list here.
