Septemberfest at New Hope Community Church

SeptemberFest, New Hope Community Church’s celebration for the community, returns for the seventh year, offering families a great excuse to enjoy fall outdoors on a Saturday afternoon. The free festival event will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  and will be sponsored by Nashville Christian radio station 97.1 KLOVE-FM and Home Depot, which will have a craft workshop on site.

Corbin CochranThe festival grounds will feature two zones of inflatables — one for teens (including Zorbes from 12-2 p.m.) and one for younger kids.  There will also be a bungee trampoline, hayrides and train rides, face painting, petting zoo, games and a Touch-a-Truck display from the Brentwood Fire department.  Food will be available via Slow and Low BBQ and Lisa’s Kettle Corn food trucks, plus there will be a cake walk and free baked goodies.  Prizes valued at $100 (and more) each will be given away every half hour.

And the site will have a live college football tent with several screens showing some of the day’s marquis football games. “Fall is such a wonderful time for families to get outside and have fun just being together,” said Josh Huisman, senior pastor, New Hope Community Church.  “That’s the main reason we’ve held SeptemberFest for six years now, to give kids and their parents something wholesome to do on a Saturday afternoon.  All of us at New Hope look forward to hosting this festival every year.  Its simply a great time for everyone.”

As in years past, the festival will be held on the church’s rear lawn and parking will be at the church, 605 Wilson Pike, Brentwood, Tenn., 37027
