Seniors to Travel to Opryland Hotel for Holiday Cheer

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department invites area seniors (55 and older) to join the fun on December 2 for a visit to the Opryland Hotel and “ICE” exhibit.

See the world famous holiday decorations throughout the facility, and make a stop at “ICE,” a special attraction of Christmas favorites carved out of two million pounds of colored ice.  There will also be time for shopping, and a variety of options for lunch dining (Dutch treat). The trip is $45 per person and includes transportation and admission to “ICE.”

Parkas will be provided for the “ICE” portion. Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes, and bring hats and gloves. The bus leaves the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. at 8:00 a.m., and returns at 3:45 p.m. The bus from the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., leaves at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 2:45 p.m.
