Update 2-22-16: Two southbound lanes are open. Cleanup will continue after the morning rush hour. Northbound commute is unaffected.
Update 8:50: 65SB will remain closed @ SR 96, till roughly 2am for clean up.
Update 8:42pm: TDOT engineers have given the ok to reopen bridge at 96.
Part of Interstate 65 South is closed in Williamson County after a crash involving a semi. The crash happened at the Murfreesboro Road exit at 7:55 p.m. Sunday evening. Southbound traffic is being diverted to on and off ramps.
Franklin police tweeted out the public information officer is headed to the scene. The crash is expected to be cleared by 2 a.m.
