Spring Hill Wine Fest

The Spring Hill Chamber uncorked their inaugural wine festival Saturday evening with beautiful weather, amazing music, and a curated selection of wine and food.

The wine festival which benefited the Spring Hill Chamber was held at the historic Oaklawn Plantation which was built in 1835 and at one time was home to George Jones and Tammy Wynette for a short while.

Over 350 wine and food enthusiasts made their way to the back lawn where helpful wine servers poured samples from over 100+ wines and spirits to a sold out crowd who couldn’t be more excited to attend.

“To say this was a success is an understatement, you couldn’t ask for better weather and the selection of wines was outstanding,” said Steve Scott.

Not to be outdone, the local restaurants did their part with harvest at Homestead Manor, Circa, Taziki’s, and others served up delicious food that paired up with the wine just perfect.

Local Spring Hill southern rock band Colt 6 laid down an impressive sound that kept the festival energy alive.  The downside to this event-we have  to wait a whole year for the next Spring Hill Wine Festival.
