Second Harvest Benefit at Kings’ Chapel Aug 24th

The scenic Kings’ Chapel community of Arrington, Tennessee is set for August 24th at the Club of Kings’ Chapel for the first ever Kings’ Harvest benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank. Kings’ Chapel residents, Kathy and Darryl Demaray, are hosting the event to help the local nonprofit where she has been a volunteer for several years.

“My husband and I have attended fundraisers for Second Harvest and have learned how the donations are utilized and how great the need is right here in Middle Tennessee. We wanted to do something that we thought could make a difference in the lives of people right here in our community by supporting Second Harvest and this event will be a fun night for everyone,” said Demaray. second harvest

Also sponsoring the evening are Kings’ Chapel developer John Powell and the neighborhood’s resident chef, Brian Cochrane, who is preparing a delicious array of food with wine and beer for the evening which also includes a silent auction from 7 – 10 p.m. “The first people we contacted were John Powell and Chef Brian Cochrane. John quickly offered the use of Kings’ Chapel Club for the event, and Chef Brian offered to donate his culinary services for the evening,” said Demaray. “Our goal is to sell 100 tickets to the event. If people cannot attend we are happy to accept a donation. We are planning a wonderful evening filled with some great food, and an opportunity to bid on some nice silent auction items that have been generously donated by many local merchants.”

Second Harvest estimates that 395,540 people in Middle Tennessee don’t know where their next meal is coming and this fundraiser will greatly help while providing a great night of fun. Tickets are $75. For more information, contact Kathy Demaray at 615-812-1344 or at [email protected] and visit www.kingschapellife.com.
