The threat of severe weather for Middle Tennessee for Monday, March 19, 2018, is causing a few closures and delays for local schools.
Williamson County Schools
Middle and High schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. All extracurricular activities are canceled. School Aged Child Care sites will remain open. If weather deteriorates, WCS may hold buses.
Franklin Special School District
Freedom Intermediate, Freedom Middle and Poplar Grove will dismiss at noon. All other elementary schools will close at 1:00. MAC will be open at the school sites.
Maury County Schools
Schools that usually dismiss at 2:45 pm will dismiss at 12:00 pm. Schools that usually dismiss at 3:15 pm will dismiss at 12:30 pm.
Students will be served lunch.
After school activities and athletics are canceled for today.
Rutherford County Schools
Rutherford County Schools are closing 2 hours early today
