School Resource Officer Honored with Award

WCSO Deputy of the Month for March 2019

A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and his favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs. Deputy Danny Booker was named Deputy of the Month for March for his excellent work as a School Resource Officer.

Deputy Booker has worked for the WCSO for almost 19 years. He has been the SRO at Franklin High School, Nolensville Elementary and is now at Thompson’s Station Middle School. The principal at Deputy Booker’s school says he has a strong work ethic, has a resilient commitment to students and staff, does an excellent job communicating when there are concerns and he’s always available when there’s a need to address an issue or safety concern. She even requested that Deputy Booker be transferred to her new school when she received a new assignment.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Deputy Booker and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to Boys and Girls Clubs in his honor.

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO Deputy and a charity.
