The seven-decade tradition of the Franklin Rodeo started Thursday night. See our video coverage of the first night above.

The rodeo continues through Saturday night and when it’s all over more than 500 cowboys and cowgirls, and as many horses and bulls, will have put on their yearly competition at the Williamson County Ag-Expo Park.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. Gates open and the Rodeo Café and concessionaires begin serving at 5:30 pm. Tickets for the Franklin Rodeo are $20 for adults and $10 for children. All seats are reserved.
