Scene Around Town: Primary Voting Day

election day

The primary elections in Tennessee took place Tuesday and we stopped by one of the polling places in Williamson County. Below are pictures from Church of the City, 828 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin.

“This is the busiest I have seen it,” said  Jack Stone, head volunteer organizer at the polling place. “Extremely heavy. Probably 100 people in line right now. Been doing this for 11 years now. This ranks up there with the presidential election. We had 60 people waiting when we opened, started with a surge and it never really let up. ”
