Last week, Christmas was in the air, as Downtown Franklin unveiled their Merriest Main Street decorations. A performance at a packed Franklin Theatre, followed by storefronts unveiling their decorated windows and of course Santa, highlighted the late afternoon’s festivities.
Merchants also lit up the Square with lights as the trees in the outside of the circle were festively lit. The lighting was sponsored by various merchants of the Downtown Franklin Association.
