Work on MAFIAoZA’S, located at The Factory in Franklin continued this week, as construction on the new rooftop dining area progressed. From what we can see, it appears the new rooftop area will be more expanded than the previous structure. We don’t have an official word but opening is still planned for April.
MAFIAoZA’s Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub Franklin will be the third MAFIAoZA’s location for long-time partners Michael Dolan, Lars Kopperud and Brett Corrieri. MAFIAoZA’s has been a popular favorite on the dining scene since opening its doors in Nashville’s 12South in 2003 and Birmingham’s Crestline Village in 2008.
Known for their pizza, MAFIAoZA’s is also known for their pastas and the best cannoli in town. Customer reviews for the Nashville location are stellar. One of the latest reviews states.
“We live in NJ right outside NYC, and everyone always says you can’t get great pizza outside our area and they are dead wrong. The Demartino pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!”
