Scene Around Town: BreakFEST 2018

On Sunday, it was the first inaugural BreakFEST event held at The Factory in Franklin. Festival attendees were waiting at the doors of Liberty Hall long before 8 am opening time and the line extending all the way down the hall to the common area.

New Found Glory guitarist and Franklin resident Chad Gilbert announced BreakFEST, a full day music and food festival showcasing breakfast foods earlier this year.

The festival featured performances from New Found Glory, Bayside, The Movielife, Hot Rod Circuit, Free Throw, William Ryan Key (formerly of Yellowcard), Daddy Issues, The Dangerous Summer, Cartel (Acoustic with Will Pugh) and Idle Bloom. Additionally, local food vendors like Frothy Monkey, Five Daughters Bakery, Honest Coffee Roasters, Triple Crown Bakery, High Brow and Franklin Juice Co. provided delicious food and drinks to BreakFEST guests.
