Make plans to attend the Scarlet Scales Antiques Grand Opening to celebrate their expansion at 246 Second Avenue South on Saturday the 18th from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. The theme is 1920’s at this soiree. Give-a-ways, special discounts refreshments and a photo booth will display the intent of the party. Anyone who dresses for the theme will receive a gift certificate.
The new location is six times larger and accommodates a more diverse set of merchandise with a continued focus on eclectic and vintage items. Now the store will be able to carry a large selection of clothing and one-of-a-kind jewelry reflecting the vintage style of the establishment. “We are excited about the new move because it gives us a chance to share even more of our finds,'” Scarlett-Tingas said. “It’s been exciting to come up with different and creative ways to display these amazing items.”
Scarlett Scales-Tingas spends most of her time exploring to find the perfect treasures to display in her shop. Her father was also a collector and the family calls their unique process of discovery “going out junkin.” “Our customers have been very loyal to us throughout the relocation process, and we hope to use this Grand Opening to extend a big ‘thank you!’ to them,” she said.
Children will receive free historic downtown coloring books,
and special drawings are being held at Noon and 5 P.M.
