Saving Money On Prom Dresses -Becca’s

Becca’s Closet is a national, non-profit organization that donates formal dresses to high school girls who are unable to afford to purchase them. Becca’s Closet also awards scholarships to deserving high school students.

The organization was created to honor the work of Rebecca Kirtman who passed away in an automobile accident in August 2003. In the spring of 2003, Becca single-handedly collected and distributed over 250 prom dresses to needy girls in South Florida so that they could attend their high school prom.

Right here in Williamson County, we have our own chapter of Becca’s closet located at Fairview Baptist Church. Now in their 9th prom season.  Prom Dresses are completely free to high school girls.  Shopping for dresses will take place by appointment on Saturdays through the month of April.  There are just a few easy, quick steps to getting your  prom dress.
