Sarah Poulit Joins Williamson County CASA

Sarah Pouliot

Williamson County CASA announced the hire of Sarah Pouliot as its new administrative assistant starting January 1, 2019.

Pouliot is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she majored in child and family studies with a concentration in community outreach. She recently completed an internship at Helen Ross McNabb’s Children and Youth Center, where she worked in the therapeutic preschool with children who have experienced trauma and abuse.

As an administrative assistant, Pouliot will be involved in both the programming and developmental aspects of the organization. This includes working hands-on with advocates, as well as helping CASA grow as a nonprofit in the Williamson County community.

“I believe that each child deserves a safe and happy home,” says Pouliot. “As someone who grew up in Williamson County, I know how many children there are in this area that so desperately need our help. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of an organization that advocates for our community’s most vulnerable citizens.”

Pouliot’s education has provided her with knowledge of child development and community engagement strategies. Her experience working with other nonprofits in the past has given her an understanding of the significant role nonprofits play in the community.

Pouliot will play an integral role in the growth and development of CASA’s upcoming projects. She can be reached at [email protected]
