Rotary Club of Cool Springs Presents Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Cool Springs presented it’s annual Arlene Peterson Memorial Scholarships to Williamson County high school students that have excelled in career and technical education along with community service. This was the fifteenth ceremony with the club having invested over $40,000 in forty-four graduates for their college education.

Students honored this year were:

  • Lilly Howard, Page High School
  • Ally Vaughn, Page High School
  • Matthew Crispi, Summit High School
  • Austin Brotzman, Centennial High School

The awards are named for the late Arlene Peterson who while with the school system was a driving force in implementing vocational education and guided the club when the scholarships were begun in 2002.

The Rotary Club of Cool Springs was chartered in 1996 and named Small Club of the Year for 2014-2015 for Rotary District 6760. In addition to the scholarships the club is involved in numerous community and international projects.
