Rolled Ice Cream Shop Opens in Nolensville

Sweet Moo's

Sweet Moo’s is now open at 7340 Nolensville Road, Nolensville. It is the latest rolled ice cream shop to open in Williamson County joining Sweet Charlie’s and Top.

Owned by Nolensville resident, Simon Ghattas, Sweet Moo’s is the second location for Ghattas as he also opened one at Opry Mills with plans to open more in the Nashville area.

“I chose to open the ice cream shop in Nolensville because it’s where I live, my kids go to school here and I love the small-town vibe,” said Ghatta.

What is rolled ice cream?

Rolled ice cream is a Thai frozen dessert made by pouring a base of sweet milk on an extremely cold steel surface, which looks like a grill. Within minutes, the liquid hardens and is shaped into cylinder rolls.

Customers walk up to the counter where you can build your own rolled ice cream with an option of ice cream, yogurt, or vegan base. Next, you select your toppings from a variety of options Oreos, strawberries, almond flakes, sprinkles, chocolate chips, Reese Cups and more. There’s also a menu of signature flavor that includes Addicted by Chocolate, Berry Blast, Cookies n’ Cream, S’Mores Crisp and Mr. Freeze.

They offer two sizes of ice cream, Like It and Love It, the Like It is priced at $5.01 before tax, and the Love It is priced at 6.83 before tax both received unlimited toppings.

In addition to ice cream, you can try bubble tea and milkshakes and we are told other new items are coming soon to the menu.

Hours for Sweet Moo’s are  11 a -9 p daily, but they are considering staying open until 10 p on the weekends.
