The Rippavilla Plantation will offer a five hour paint along workshop to study how to capture the right amount of color and light in your paintings.
The title of the workshop is “Capturing Warm and Cool Light” and will use the “Git Along Little Doggie” painting as a reference for how to understand the relationships of warm and cool colors and the effect of the colors on the overall painting.
The workshop will be taught by Susan E. Jones in the Excel studio on the Rippavilla Plantation on July 19 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with one hour scheduled for lunch. The cost of this workshop is $99 and must be paid at the time of registration. Register by calling 615-216-5907. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rippavilla Plantation.
