Rippavilla more Than History
Preserving history is not the only thing happening at Rippavilla. For fall they have once again opened up the corn maze. In September the plantation began weekend fun with a corn maze, hayrides and a play area. Hours are Friday 3-11 P.M., Saturday 10 A.M.-11 P.M., and Sunday Noon -6. Be there one hour before close if you want to enter the maze.

Tickets are only $7 for adults 13-up, $5 for ages 6-12 and those under 5 get in free. Groups of 10 or more get a $1 discount. Cash and Checks only please and call for your school group pricing at (931) 486-9037. The maze takes up to two hours to find all the checkpoints, so give yourself plenty of time.

You can test your strength with a pumpkin sling on Saturdays and Sundays and pumpkin painting is also available, both at an additional cost. You can toss one pumpkin for $2 or 3 for $5. Now that the weather is cooling bonfires will be available for your enjoyment as well. Vendors are available on site providing refreshments.

Saturday, October 13th you have the opportunity to reserve an easel for the Plein Air Class. This outdoor painting event begins at 9 A.M.; call Susan Jones for more information (615) 216-5907. Saturday, October 27th they are holding Music in the Mansion featuring Chris Janson with cocktails at 7 P.M. and dinner at 7:30. Reservations are required and the admission is $75 per person.
