It was a beautiful crisp sunny morning for the early bird shoppers looking to check out the grand opening of Marshalls in Spring Hill. There were about 60+ energetic customers waiting in line to check out the new store.
Nicola S. was the first customer in line and she was rewarded with a $50 Marshall’s gift card. Nicola said she got to the store around 6:50 and was surprised she was first in line. “This is the first time I have ever done a grand opening, it was very exciting as it got closer to the opening time,” said Nicola.
Goodwill Career Solutions career counselor Roger Carrier was also on hand. Roger said “Goodwill held a 6 day hiring event for Marshalls and helped staff some of the grand opening staff.”

The Spring Hill Marshalls is a prototype store in design and there are only 4 like this in Tennessee according to Manager Ken Long. Long went on to say that “the store is 18,500 square feet and will employee about 50+ employees during the holidays.”
Marshalls is located at 4911 Main St. in Spring Hill and will be open until 10:00 p.m. with surprise giveaways and gift cards.
Right next door is the new Petco and they will be having a grand opening weekend starting on the 13th of November.
