Ravenwood High School’s Pack the Park for Patton is back for its seventh year, taking place March 31 against Franklin.
The Lady Raptors softball program hosts the event to honor Elizabeth Patton, a basketball and softball standout of Ravenwood’s Class of 2009 who died in November 2008 from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.
Since her passing, the Patton family formed the Elizabeth Patton Memorial Fund and give away multiple scholarships a year.
In lieu of gate fees at Tuesday’s game, donations will be collected to go towards the fund.
Along with collections at the gate, t-shirts can be bought at the softball team website. The Ravenwood football and basketball teams will also chip in with a lunchtime cupcake sale.
