Rescue Reunion Celebrates Pets

Williamson County Animal Center Reunion Event

Williamson County Animal Center in Franklin presents a Rescue Reunion and Adoption Celebration on Saturday, June 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the shelter, 106 Claude Yates Dr. Bring your dog along (on a leash) and join the tail-waggin’ fun!

Admission is free, and you can learn about pet behavior from featured speakers certified professional dog trainer Charlotte Blake, with Fresh Canine Training and Project Reward plus certified cat behaviorist and author Pam Johnson-Bennett. Vendors will be on hand with pet products and information, including The Farm at Natchez Trace, Animalia Health & Wellness, Mars Petcare US, Nashville Pet Products Franklin, My Second Home Pet Resort, Cat Shoppe, Invisible Fencing of Middle Tennessee, Doggie Doodles by Dina and 4 Paws Pastries!

For a small donation benefiting New Leash on Life, your dog will have an opportunity to run a special dog lure course. Dirty dogs can get spiffy at the dog wash, and have professional photos made by Penny Adams Photography on site. We will keep the humans happy with cold drinks and tasty homemade baked goods.

Current adoption specials include two-for-one kittens $10, adult cats $10, dogs $50, puppies $85.
