Rescue of the Week–Elliot

Rescue of the Week

Are you considering adopting a homeless pet, but are concerned about how they might act in your home? The Williamson County Animal Center currently have several pets that are in foster homes, but are still looking for their forever family.

Our dog that has been fostered the longest is Elliot. Elliot is currently being cared for by Foster Mom, Kathey. Elliot has brought a lot of joy to her home, but she says “he is ready to be with his forever family.” Elliot came to us as an emaciated stray, but now, he is full of life and love, not to mention handsome as ever! He is a 4 year old Pharaoh Hound Mix.He will need a fenced yard and a nice comfy spot on the couch. Elliot loves to play outside, but once back in the house, he transforms into a total couch potato. He loves nothing more than to take a mid-day snooze. He is a total lover – He will greet you at the door everyday as if you’ve been gone for years!

Elliot is literally a man’s best friend. He certainly loves the ladies, but seems to simply adore men. He would be a great pet for any adult! Elliot needs to be in a home without children – he finds them very scary, and likes the predictability of the older crowd.Eliot Pet of the Week

Elliot arrived at WCAC in January of 2015, and we would like to celebrate his adoption, and not a one year anniversary. If you have any questions about Elliot or would like to set up a meet and greet, please call us at 615-790-5590.

Rescue of the Week is brought to you by Three Dog Bakery.
