Franklin Special School District (FSSD) registration for the 2012-2013 school year is August 7th. Students are not required to attend. Check this link for dates and times for your school. The first official day of class for students is Thursday, August 9th. Remember to bring all the necessary paperwork, if registering your child for the first time you will need certified birth certificate.
Shortly after the beginning of the year parents are invited to visit their school to obtain important information about the year and classrooms. This is also a time to take advantage of the opportunity to fill out any necessary forms with teachers there to assist. Williamson County Schools will begin with a half-day for students on Friday, August 10th. The first full day is Monday, August 13th. Keep track of what is happening in county schools on twitter and Facebook.
