From inFocus

If your student has a New Year’s resolution to improve their baseball skills, Centennial High is offering them the perfect opportunity to do it.

The Centennial High baseball team’s yearly fundamentals camp will be Saturday, January 11. Not only will athletes be able to learn from the players and coaches of the team, they will also get the opportunity to learn from CHS alum and Chicago Cubs player Tony Kemp.

The camp is open to those in kindergarten through eighth grade. Athletes will be split into age groups and receive hands-on instruction in each of the key skills.

Registration costs $60 per player. Players must be registered by January 3, 2020 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. The camp will run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the CHS gymnasium. Players should bring bats, gloves and tennis shoes.

To register, fill out the form on the CHS GoFan page.
