Reese Witherspoon is coming home!

One of our favorite Nashville celebrities is coming home!  Yes,  Reese Witherspoon with her husband, Jim Toth, have purchased a home in the Oak Hill area.

According to Variety, the home was purchased for 1.95 million boasting 3,855 square feet, 4 bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms.  Listing details show the existing residence was originally built in the 1930s by a prominent local family and measures in at a fairly modest 3,855 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The two-story residence, with it’s pilastered and shuttered front façade, maintains an air of southern gentility and stately elegance but, as digital marketing materials suggest, the downtrodden dwelling is need of a full renovation. Some architectural details and medium brown oak floors — probably original — remain in place but the kitchen, laundry room and main floor powder room  have already been removed.

Will Reese Witherspoon actually live in the home remains to be seen.  However, she does have some really great neighbors as the Governor’s Mansion is just over half a mile down the road with other notables in the area include Ronnie Milsap,  Martina McBride, and Matthew Followill from Kings of Leon.
