The holidays bring with it many recyclable items. Gift wrapping paper (except foil wrapping paper) and cardboard boxes, can be recycled at any of the aforementioned convenience centers. Remember to remove bows and tape off the wrapping paper and breakdown your cardboard boxes!
If you’ve got extra packing peanuts laying around, take them to the UPS store on Mallory Lane or Fieldstone Pkwy–they are able to reuse them. The Fieldstone Pkwy location even accepts Styrofoam packing peanuts as well as biodegradable peanuts.
There’s even a way to recycle all your holiday cards. St Jude’s accepts all cards for their Recycled Card Program. Children and volunteers recycle these old cards into brand new ones. Learn more HERE.
