Recipe: Dr. Oz Approved Berry Smoothie

Dr. Oz visited the Rachael Ray show to make his berry smoothie, a drink he reccomends to everyone because it is packed with powerful nutrients and protein. He says it’s even great for your kids. This is a great recipe to have on hand all summer long as it is refreashing and light and will make for the perfect drink to cool you down after spending time outside.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (30 cal.)
1/2 banana (53 cal.)
1/2 cup frozen berries (35 cal.)
2 tablespoons protein powder (whey protein powder or egg white protein powder) (43 cal.)
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil (120 cal.)
1/2 cup ice (0 cal.)
