Here are five things you need to know about Lyndsay.

How did you get started being a stylist?

I am from a small town in central Illinois, Mattoon.  I Moved to Nashville when I was 19. Music has alway been my inspiration and I wanted surround myself with creative people and live in a city where possibilities are endless. I knew Nashville would be the perfect place for me.

Can’t live without product?

It’s so hard to pick just one because there are so many products for different purposes. However one favorite is The split end mender by Oribe. Because damaged hair can make us look aged so this product is amazing at repairing. Also, all Moroccan oil products are amazing for every day use to maintain healthy beautiful hair.

Trends you see for fall?

The best trend is always finding what works best for your skin tone and face shape. Who knows, maybe the inverted ombré will the next hottest tend! HAHA! I’m always attending hair shows in New York and Chicago to stay up with latest trends to be able to give my current and new clients whatever they want!

What made you want to become a stylist?

I’ve always been a creative and slightly OCD (lol!) person and knew I needed to find that perfect career to allow me to channel that creativity. When I worked as a bartender at the Beer Sellar, My good friend Debbie Sorenson who was already a well established stylist in Nashville, encouraged me to go to hair school, knowing it would be great for me. While I was in school I was a shampoo tech at her salon and learned so much about being a stylist and made great connections.

Style Icon?

Jessica Simpson. For both her hair style fashion sense. As far as her hair, she knows what works for her and doesn’t deviate much from her ‘blonde bombshell’ style, even when she went short. All of her products in her fashion line are so well made and timeless pieces for all ‘real women’. The best accessory on a woman is confidence and she is always confident in herself, and brand.
