Whisper Creek Day Spa located in the heart of Brentwood. We are a full service spa with an amazing experienced staff of service providers! I love offering one stop shopping to my clients! I consider myself a hair therapist. Corrective coloring, hair rehab for damaged, depleted, neglected, mature or abused hair ! In essence I aim to help the guest achieve their best.I get to help my guests shine again by educating them on their personal hair care! Healthy hair is younger hair! I find great joy in what I get to do every day and am so very blessed to have so many put their trust in my hands. .

How did you get started being a stylist?
Originally an Indiana Girl. This year marks 30 years as a professional Cosmetologist! I have managed and owned salons in Indianapolis, Hawaii, and Tennessee. I moved to Nashville area 5 years ago and love it! I am a mother of two adult children and have two fabulous grandchildren that all live here now as well!
Can’t live without product?
This is tough! OLAPLEX would be number one! I am a colorist and this amazing scientific breakthrough in hair has sent my ability to bring the best to a whole new level of strength and health. The Pravana Nevo Line- Model Behavior for styling if I had to choose one styling product. It is very versatile and not to heavy for fine hair but enough control for curly! It is amazing for blow-outs, soft set waves, or just soft air dried beachy waves.
Trends you see for fall?
I think the Lobs and Bobs we’ve been seeing aren’t going anywhere! They are super flattering on any face shape and any age. Rich warm and cool brown mixes and soft melted blondes! French twists and deep sultry waves are always timeless. The undone softness of bohemian waves and slightly messy up-do’s will continue to be a favorite. Fall is my most inspired time of year to revamp colors,and health of hair that has been slightly compromised or neglected from the long summer of sun and fun!
What made you want to become a stylist?
I don’t think this was ever a real conscious decision in my life. I’ve just always done it, so it evolved. I started fixing my brother’s hair cuts when my distraught mother would bring him home from the barber shop at about age ten, was styling up my Barbie from younger than that! I think God gives us a natural gift or aptitude for things and when we follow that, we find much joy in what we do!
Style Icon?
I have appreciated and been influenced by many. From Audrey Hepburn, simple classic elegance, always fresh, to more edgy styles like Joan Jett.Lol! Diane Keaton has a style that mixes class, elegance with an edge that’s all her own and still manages to stay completely age appropriate and beautiful! I feel like we are in a time period that successfully meshes many different moods and timelines together quite successfully and allows much creativity! What a fun time for style!
