Ravenwood’s Van Jefferson did not stay on the market long as the senior wide receiver gave a commitment to the University of Mississippi late Sunday night.
I have officially committed to The University of Mississippi. I want to thank my family, friends, and God through this process. #HottyToddy

Jefferson, a four-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals.com, was a University of Georgia commit before withdrawing his verbal Jan. 20.
The decommitment came days after Jefferson took an official visit to the University of Oklahoma, leading to speculation the 6-foot-2 receiver would become a Sooner.
Instead, Jefferson committed to Ole Miss days after taking an unofficial visit to Oxford.
National Signing Day is Feb. 4.
Jefferson was the second Williamson County athlete to make a commitment Sunday, as Centennial’s Deon Sanders gave a verbal to Furman University earlier in the day. For the story, click here.
