Will Hester made his debut as head coach last night as the Ravenwood Raptors triumphed over the Stewart’s Creek Hawks taking a 55-6 win to start off the season with flying colors.

Right into the first quarter, Ravenwood was making big plays.   The much anticipated Van Jefferson had two touchdown catches to ignite the scoreboard.  The Wide Receiver finished out the night with four touchdowns for the Raptors.

There to support the team was none other than some of the fellow Tennessee Titans players.  Jefferson’s father, Shawn Jefferson, is the wide receivers coach for the Titans.  Chris Johnson, Kenny Britt, and Damian Williams were just some of the players that came to show their support.

Ravenwood’s Avery Jankowski threw three out of the four touchdown passes last night to start the season off strong.

Although Stewarts Creek’s first game in school history, the Red Hawks did not show up empty handed.  Head coach David Martin had a solid fan base last night as the crowd ignited the visitors section in support of the brand new football team.

Our team was out at the Ravenwood game last night and will be updating you with more information on the Raptors and their upcoming season.  This dynamic team is definitely one to keep in the horizons for this upcoming year.

Ravenwood will take on Clarksville at home next Friday at 7 p.m.
