Ravenwood to Have Extra Enforcement After School Threat

Ravenwood High School is taking extra precautions after a student received a threat to the school Thursday.

A Ravenwood student reported having received a threat to the school through a cell phone “airdrop” feature while in class Thursday afternoon, said Ravenwood High School Principal Pam Vaden in a message to parents Thursday evening.

After investigating the incident, the Sheriff’s Office has determined there is no credible threat to Ravenwood students or staff.

Nevertheless, as a precaution, Ravenwood will have additional law enforcement from Brentwood Police and the Sheriff’s Office at school tomorrow, Friday, May 10.
