Ravenwood Names Head Girls Basketball Coach

Matt Robinson has been named the new Head Girls Basketball Coach, becoming the programs 4th coach in school history. He has served as the assistant coach for the boys since 2005 and is a familiar face to their basketball program.

Robinson is a native of Franklin, Ohio where he played basketball and attended Lee University. While at Lee, Robinson worked as manager, student assistant and graduate assistant to the men’s basketball program. During that time, Lee University won two conference championships and went to the NAIA All-Americans, eight All-Transouth selections, and one Transouth player of the year. He holds a BS in History and a Master’s in Teaching from Lee.

“Matt was a key part of the boys success and I am excited for him to lead our girls program.  His dedication to the players and deep basketball background will be a huge asset.  His ability to relate to kids will serve the team well.  The future of our girls program is in good hands” said Athletic Director Patrick Whitlock.
