Ravenwood High School Wins National Cheer Competition

The National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country, nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN2 to over 100 million homes and 32 countries nationwide each year. The NHSCC was held at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida this past weekend.

Ravenwood competed in the Medium Varsity Division, making it to the final round where they faced 25 other teams. Ravenwood came out on top, winning first place in their division.

Coached by Barbee Morgan, the team includes:

Seniors: Logan Jordan, Lauren Martin, Greta Peterson, Arial Griffin, Brook Phillips, Sydney Fordice.
Juniors: Morgan Lanius, Peyton Rositano. Sophomores: Sydney Dagostino, Sidney Holley, Regan Jordan, Ally Hankins, Olivia Corley, Bri Fick, Bailey Martin, Avery Fallon. Freshman: Ashton Carteaux.
