Ravenwood Raptors will be hosting their 5th annual auction & golf tournament to raise funds for the athletic department on November 9th-10th.
On Sunday, November 9th, a silent auction and dinner will be hosted at the Governor’s Club in Brentwood. After the silent auction, Coach Hester, will lead a live auction. Here is a list of a few of the auction items: hotel packages to the Peabody, Omni, and Marriott Muscle Shoals, signed lyrics by Vince Gill and Amy Grant, signed guitars by Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Charlie Daniels, Hunter Hayes, Alan Jackson, signed books by Dave Ramsey, signed prints by Norman Rockwell, signed jerseys by Franco Harris and Brett Favre, lunch with Coach Hester, and many more items.
Guest speaker for the dinner will be former Sugarland guitarist who also appeared on “The Biggest Loser”, Thad Beaty.
On Monday, November 10th, the golf tournament will be held at the Governor’s Club. Each golfer will play 18 holes of golf with lunch and dinner included. There will so be an opportunity for golf prized including a hole -in- one for a luxury vehicle.
This year the Wrestling team has sponsored a hole in honor of one their fellow teammate, Jesse Phillips. During a routine surgery at Williamson Medical Center his blood pressure dropped. He was rushed to Vanderbilt where they discovered Jesse has a serious heart condition. One that would require a heart transplant.
