Make sure to keep a close eye on the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards tomorrow, November 14. There may be some familiar faces.

The Ravenwood High School marching band was selected for a major role in one of the night’s feature performances. They will perform live at Bridgestone Arena in front of thousands of people, and the performance will be seen on television by millions.

“This opportunity is huge for the Ravenwood Band, our student body, our school, and our community,” said Ravenwood High band director Chris Janowiak. “The students are beyond excited about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m incredibly proud of them for how quickly they were able to get this performance ready. These students give their all every single day in every rehearsal, and this is the perfect way for us to cap off our marching band season. We cannot thank the folks at the CMA enough for this opportunity, and we are excited to make our community proud.”

The CMA Awards will be broadcast on ABC beginning at 7 p.m.
