Ravenswood Mansion First Wedding Season

Ravenswood Mansion’s first wedding season has been busy this summer as brides have fallen in love with Brentwood’s newest venue. Nestled inside Smith Park, the home can only be described as spectacular for hosting a wedding, reception, gala, corporate party, high tea or a high school reunion.

This lovingly restored 1825 antebellum mansion is nestled among Brentwood’s rolling hills, surrounded by 400 acres of beautiful park land. Rich in history and superlative in style, it’s a venue on the must-see list for brides-to-be.

During their first wedding season, the majority of brides have chosen to hold their ceremonies outdoors because of the beautiful nature surrounding the home.

“Most weddings have the cocktail hour inside and rent a tent to have the reception outdoors. It’s nice to be able to utilize the indoor facilities, taking advantage of seeing the beauty of the home. And equally beautiful, is the outdoor space and all that surrounds the home. Because of the large space outside, we can have up to 500 guests if that space is used,” Amanda Bledsoe, City of Brentwood Communications Specialist shared.
