The win for the Raiders created a logjam in Region 4-4A. Lawrence County, Giles County, and Spring Hill all finished the season 3-7, 2-3 in 4-4A and all went 1-1 against the other teams in the logjam. Per TSSAA rules, if a tie cannot be broken with head-to-head, the next tiebreaker goes to the combined win-loss record of the opponents for each team. With the opponents’ win-loss records taken into account, Lawrence County and Giles County advanced to the TSSAA playoffs and ending the season for Spring Hill.
