Puckett’s Leiper’s Fork announced the restaurant will close for a few days due to a potential exposure to COVID-19.

“We were notified that we were potentially exposed to an asymptomatic person who has tested positive for Covid 19. Out of an abundance of caution for patrons and employees, we are closing through Friday and will reopen Saturday morning at 7am. Sorry for this inconvenience. God Bless Tennessee and thank you for your continued support of Puckett’s Leiper’s Fork!” the restaurant posted on Facebook Wednesday afternoon.

Puckett’s Leiper’s Fork is located at 4142 Old Hillsboro Road in the Leiper’s Fork community. The notable eatery got its start as a local grocery store for the community. In 1998, Andy Marshall purchase the location converting it from a grocery store to a restaurant.

Rob and Shanel Robinson purchased Puckett’s Leiper’s Fork in 2008 to preserve authentic Puckett’s food and music. This location is listed on The National Historic Registry. “We put the love in everyday”, Rob shared about the website. “We wanted to expand the live music and we now have live music almost every day. We brought studio quality sound to a vintage country store. It’s a great place to slow down, hear incredible music and eat award-winning burgers and barbeque.”
