Puckett’s Leiper’s Fork is on the Market

Puckett’s in Leiper’s Fork is a gathering spot for the community, one where you may find a local celebrity eating lunch or jumping on stage to perform. The property, located at 4142 Old Hillsboro Road, is listed for sale for $4.3 million.

The grocery store/eating establishment has quite a history. Founded by the Puckett family in 1950, it served as a country store offering supplies, food, and gas to the locals.

In 1998, Andy Marshall of A. Marshall Family Foods purchased the local market. Marshall transformed the local spot into a music venue with a focus on bbq. Marshall sold the Leiper’s Fork outpost to Rob Robinson.

The property sits on 1.25 acres. On the listing, it states there have been improvements to the restaurant that include new vent hood, new bar with copper top, bar stools & new septic.
