On Tuesday, Feb. 19, representatives from A. Marshall Hospitality, the parent company of Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant and Good People Brewing Company presented a check for $3,055 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The “People Doing Good” campaign was a joint effort across all five Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant locations in Tennessee (Chattanooga, Franklin, Nashville, Columbia and Murfreesboro) and Puckett’s Boat House in Franklin to donate $1 for every Good People IPA sold during the month of November. A total of 2,055 beers were sold across the six restaurants, and Good People Brewing Company donated an additional $1,000 to the cause.
“We feel very fortunate at A. Marshall Hospitality to have opportunities to do something truly impactful for our communities,” Mark Gothard, CFO of A. Marshall Hospitality, said. “Partnering with an amazing company like Good People Brewing makes the campaign even more special, and we’re grateful for their generosity toward this important mission.”
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America seeks to provide youth with positive mentors, along with educational and development opportunities in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant and A. Marshall Hospitality have a long history of supporting Boys & Girls clubs, as CEO Andy Marshall grew up a member of his local organization and credits it with providing strong reinforcement and role models during his youth.
The donation will be split among local Boys & Girls Clubs near all Puckett’s locations. For more information about the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, visit www.bgca.org. Head to goodpeoplebrewing.com to learn more about Good People Brewing Company.
